Bella Mae craves to wear the special Halloween costume, leaving town for the day with her dork confidante, Van Wylde. When her daughter Tams makes her bunk, Van Wylde goes into the movie theater to greet Del Angelo on front row. He aims his halberd at the woman, and even invites her to his place for some drinks. Then, he asks the couple to discuss the day`s chores.
